KTern identifies license optimization opportunities during S/4 transformation

How does KTern assist in identifying license optimization opportunities during the S/4HANA transformation?

  1. After login to app.ktern.com, Navigate to Digital Maps -> SAP Auto Assessment Insights.
  2. Click on Landscape Assessment and navigate to Active vs Inactive users and click on 
  3. You will be able to see the overview of the users.

  4.  This section gives you an analytical view of all the users present in the system and helps you make the right decision with respect license purchase before moving to S/4HANA

    1.   In the case of S/4HANA system conversion, you must analyse the existing SAP ERP users and their license.
    2.  KTern automates this process to find out the total number of SAP ERP users and also classifies them into active and inactive users based on their activity.
    3.  As a result, this section gives you an analytical view of all the users present in the system and helps you make the right decision with respect license purchase before moving to S/4HANA.
  5. Scroll down, to view information about each user in the ECC system.
    1. Name of the user
    2. User type (Communication user, Dialog User or System User)
    3. License type (Professional, Limited Professional, Test or ESS user)
    4. Type of Admin user
    5. System to which the User belongs.
    6. Last Login date of the User
    7. User status (Active or Inactive)
