Obtaining re-approvals for rejected or reworked sign offs is one of the most challenging aspects of the project. Moreover, changes made to address the concerns of one rejected stakeholder often require re-approvals from previously approved stakeholders. Without automation, following up for these re-approvals becomes both hectic and time-consuming.
Let's see how KTern transforms this challenge into a
seamless and effortless process.
Reapproval Request Procedure
- First, ensure you have 'Super' or 'Standard' access level to request re-approval for any sign-off.
- Once you have the appropriate access, navigate to Transformation Hub --> Sign offs.
- Under
List View in the Signoff Cockpit page, click on the 'i' icon of the
respective signoff for which you need to obtain re-approvals.

- To view the reason for the rejection provided by the stakeholder, click on the discussion. You will be able to see the reason for rejection, which are automatically captured.

- By clicking on the Stakeholders tab, you can view all approvals and their actions. Click the ‘Request Re-approval’ button to request re-approval.

- Use the
comment box to mention the updates you have made, then click on 'Yes,
Request for Reapproval' button.

- Now, all
stakeholders' actions, regardless of their level, are reset, and the
re-requested indication will be shown.

- Even
stakeholders who previously approved must take action again after a re-approval
request. This is because any changes made to address the concerns of a rejected
stakeholder need to be communicated and approved by the previously approved
stakeholders. A rejection email will be sent to all stakeholders at each level (e.g., Level 1, Level 2, Level 3), including
multiple stakeholders at the same level.

- Stakeholders are notified through this email and can
navigate using the 'View Signoff' button to approve or reject the signoff as
needed
The re-request automations save you time by handling follow-ups and ensuring updates on sign offs for every stakeholder.
