How To Create A Ticket In KTern.AI's Ticket Center?


The Ticket Center in KTern.AI is a centralized platform used for managing support requests, reporting bugs, and submitting enhancement and feature requests. This guide is designed for users who need to create and track tickets effectively within KTern.AI.

Prerequisites
  1. Ensure you have access to the Project Launchpad and the Ticket Center within KTern.AI.

  2. Basic information required includes the title, priority, classification, and project name for the ticket.

Follow the below steps to create a ticket

  1. On the Project Launchpad page, locate the “profile icon” in the top right corner. Click on the profile icon to open the side panel.



  2. In the side panel, click on “Ticket Center.” 



  3. You will be redirected to the “Ticket Center” page, where you can manage and view tickets.



  4. On the Ticket Center page, click on the “Add Ticket” button. This will redirect you to the “Add New Ticket” page.



  5. Fill in the Ticket Details:

    1. Title: Provide a brief, descriptive title that summarizes the issue or request.

    2. Priority: Select the priority level (e.g., High, Medium, Low) to indicate the urgency of the ticket.

    3. Classification: Choose the appropriate classification, such as Bug, Enhancement, Feature Request, or Support.

    4. Project Name: Choose the project related to the ticket. If you are already inside the project, this field will be automatically selected and displayed in a disabled state.

    5. Ticket Description: Enter a detailed description of the issue or request, providing as much context as possible. Use the editor to include additional details such as images, links, or code snippets if needed.

  6. Once you have completed all the necessary fields, click on the “Add Ticket” button.



  7.  You can find the created ticket in the "My Tickets" section of the “Ticket Center” page for tracking and further updates. Additionally, you can track the status of the ticket and see who is handling it within this section. Apart from this, you will also receive email notifications for each update made to the ticket.
