Templates in KTern enable you to create, update, and utilize predefined structures for efficient project management, particularly when using the “Clone and Create” feature.
Here's a step-by-step guide on creating a new template:
Select the concerned project and navigate to “Define Template," which houses existing templates for that project.
Next to the created templates, find the "Create a New Template" button.
Click the "Create a New Template" button and provide a Template Name.
Create Items & Apply Conditional Rules for the required work items (Tasks/Issues/Test Cases/Signoffs/Meetings). You can simultaneously create items and apply conditional rules for all the work items in the same template.
Type in “@” to add the title of link item A or link item B. For instance, if link item B is “Accounts Payable” and the formulated name is “Design - @Link-ItemB,” then the created task will be named as “Design - Accounts Payable.”
Click on the “Create” button to add the new template.
