How does KTern determine the gaps during Change Impact Mining?

During the Change Impact Mining, the analysis would result in numerous SAP Objects (Transactions, Reports etc) getting impacted due to the Transport Requests. KTern would connect to the Test Repository in place and would identify the applicable test cases relevant to the SAP Objects impacted. The objects are learnt and derived from SAP Monitoring, in order to be maintained across test cases as part of the test repository. This would result in Test Fits (meaning existing Test cases that must be tested).

There could be cases where for an impacted SAP Object, a relevant testcase is not found in the Test Repository. In this scenario, KTern.AI determines this to be a Gap and immediately generates a Gap Item for the SAP DevOps Team to act on. This would either become a Test Requirement or be added to the Test Case Repository.
